"Our greatest fear is if we allow others to see our unfiltered selves, they won't like us. Perhaps we will be found lacking and unworthy of connection. So we hide ourselves only revealing our best bits, like a best of compilation album with all the mediocre and crappy songs cut out. But we need all the mediocracy and crappiness if we are to have meaningful, honest, three-dimensional relationships."
